AIRBAG FAULT 01217 what to do??

for the third time my skoda octavia II gives me this
error

01217 - Side Airbag Igniter; Driver Side (N199)
except this time the dealer using vag-com can´t turn off that error light!!!
they sayd that the cables and sensors should be changed etc...and wanted to charge me whit more than 400€!!!!! not fairrrrrr

is there any chance for me to fix this :S the car has no longer warranty...
please help!!

The fault code you've given is incomplete, a fault like that always comes with a location (01217) and a fault type (e.g. resitance too high). Besides that nothing else seems to be known about your car so we can not give you any special hints either.
